P.B.O.D. Life is a sixty day program that incorporates detox, individual therapy, relapse prevention, medication management, drug testing, and life-skill training.
In addition, an individual has a recovery plan tailored to his or her needs and is introduced to the twelve step fellowship with 1:1 step education and selected meetings on the outside.
The goal is for the patient to meet at least twice weekly with Dr. Scanlan for medication management and individual psychotherapy along with separate twelve step education with staff. Furthermore, our staff will bring the client individually to his or her first few meetings to help facilitate the comfort in going to meetings and the eventual obtainment of a sponsor.P.B.O.D. realizes that everyone’s needs are different and does not believe in the “cookie cutter” approach seen in inpatient rehabs or intensive outpatient rehabs.
Treatment centers are safe and comfortable and are not a good representation of the environment an addict faces on the outside. We strive to create a recovery plan for our clients while they are in their current environment. Thus, there is not the shock an individual feels when he or she leaves the safety of a treatment center and reenters the “real world”. |

Costs:
A one-time fee includes full history and physical, addiction assessment, follow up visits, and physician charges. Our affordable detox services are completely confidential and will not appear on employment or insurance records because Palm Beach Outpatient Detox does not accept insurance for the detox services.
PBOD does accept insurance for weekly urine analysis' which is billed as laboratory medicine and indispensible to Dr. Scanlan in determing the serum levels in the patients body. Laboratory Analysis Sample
